最近到台灣訪問，對台灣熱火朝天的大選略有親身了解，總的特點是蔡英文咄咄逼人，宋楚瑜黑馬搗亂，馬英九選情告急，民調支持率持續走低。
蔡英文和她的民進党政府（如果当選的話）当然可以說，願意繼續在“不設前提的條件下”发展兩岸关系，但對此北京可能根本就會置之不理，因為北京要的就是這個“前提”，即“九二共識”及其背后的“一個中國”理念。

民众能占领华尔街而没被失踪，是得益于民主制；民众“占领华尔街”声势之大而无暴力冲突社会失序，是一个社会成熟民主素养之效。政府没有谴责、镇压，而表示同情，民众从未挑战民主制度或怀疑政府合法性，整个运动其实都是在他们的民主制度框架之内运行。
如果说“占领华尔街”表现了民主的缺陷的话，我希望中国能有一些这样的民主缺陷。

民進黨這份文宣不只價格嚴重低於實際價格，害得柿價被打壓柿子賣不出去，甚至有些水果連生產月份也標錯。媒體原本的報導是若干產地最劣級產品一顆二元，水果月曆卻統標為柿子一斤二元，圖示還用最高級的甜柿，這根本把最基本的事實都弄錯了。結果對辛苦了一整年的柿農造成了嚴重衝擊，不只被退貨六成，還被不明就裡的消費者罵到臭頭。柿子又不經擺，一滯銷就要血本無歸，氣得柿農心底淌血。這種人禍造成的災難，比天災還可怕。
